This is the first observation reported from Station OX-10 in Oxford, ME. Fair & sunny weather prevailed during the daylight hours Friday 3/5/10 with above-normal temperatures. Clear skies were observed Friday evening and early Saturday morning 3/6/10 with nightime temperatures dipping into the 20's. No precipitation was observed during the 24-hour observation period between 7 am Friday and 7 am Saturday. Similar weather prevailed throughout the day Saturday 3/6/10, with fair and sunny skies and above-normal temperatures. At this time (9 pm Saturday) skies are clear and the temperature is 33 degrees F. No new precipatation was recorded between the period of 7 am and 9 pm Saturday. |

Clear skies prevailed Saturday evening 3/6/10 and early Sunday morning 3/7/10 here in Oxford, ME. At 7 am Sunday morning skies were sunny with only a few high cirrus clouds, mostly to the south. The temperature was 34 degrees F. Looks like another beautiful day with above normal temperatures. |

Sunday's weather was dominated by mainly sunny skies and more above-normal temperatures. Sunday's high in Oxford was 53 degrees F. Early Sunday evening brought mainly clear skies immediately after sunset before becoming partly cloudy. Last night's low temperature was 28 degrees F and the temperature at 7 am was 30 degrees F. No precipitation fell during the 24-hour period between 7 am Sunday and 7 am Monday. |

Temperatures rose slightly overnight. Water level in our bog has not risen significantly yet. Svr t-storm occurred in Oxford County yesterday afternoon and narrowly missed my location, hitting Paris and Hebron at 4:45-5:00 pm. A brief heavy t-shower occurred at my location at that time but no significant weather or damage to report (no high winds or hail occurred). A possible tornado occurred to the NE of my location per local media outlets & Oxford County Sheriff's Dept. A Tornado Watch was issued yesterday for Western ME and a Tornado Warning for Oxford & Androscoggin Counties was issued shortly before this storm hit. I observed this storm from a distance at my location and heard almost constant thunder as it approached and passed. T-storm w/ heavy rainfall also occurred yesterday morning at & after daybreak, no svr or significant weather occurred w/ this storm. Times are noted below. |

A strong t-storm passed our area from West to East last night. Lots of vivid cloud-to-cloud & cloud-to-ground lightning, but very little in the form of precip., light rain only fell for a few minutes. This storm stayed together as a severe single-cell (pulse storm?) all the way from the Adirondacks of New York State!
