when the cold front barreled through the valley the wind was howling up to 50 mph in gusts. a lot of blowing snow bringing visibility to a block in distance! still snow blowing at 3 am through to six am when the sky cleared and the winds finally died. temps was 17 then dropped to 11 degrees by six am. one more note it took about 20 minutes for the front to travers from Helena to Boulder.
