10/7/2009 8:00 AM T M M M M Arctic front number one is hopping through the boulder Valley. The wind shifed to the north at 2:23 am The snow flurries started at 3:46 am, still only a trace for my station. temps fell from 43 at 2:30 am to 32 by 6 am. )
10/8/2009 8:00 AM 0.00 0.0 M M M in between rounds of arctic cold fronts we await the coming of the second event with "shiver patience" low stuck around 26 degrees. then began to drop to 23 by six am. O
10/9/2009 8:00 AM 0.07 M M M M when the cold front barreled through the valley the wind was howling up to 50 mph in gusts. a lot of blowing snow bringing visibility to a block in distance! still snow blowing at 3 am through to six am when the sky cleared and the winds finally died. temps was 17 then dropped to 11 degrees by six am. one more note it took about 20 minutes for the front to travers from Helena to Boulder. O also the accumulation of the new snow will not accept my submission .

I could not see the edge of the road either side! it developed around 3 am and increased as the morning progressed. it is very rare that Boulder itself have fog. low temperature was from 26 to 32 degrees.

It ended at 4:25 am and a rain started about 5:46 am. to the west of Boulder was three flashes of lightning. the rain ended at 6:39 AM. at present of this writing (9 AM) the sky is overcast with rain clouds. the present temperature is 50 degrees O

11/11/2009 8:00 AM 0.00 0.0 M M M Boulder Valley was over cast with a few flakes at 5:30 am then all of a sudden it cleared off. later the clouds moved in befor the 8 am observation but no snow at my station. temps was in the mid twenties after 50 yesterday for the high. O
