What a day! Winds steadily increased during the morning and peaked around 12-1PM with gusts to 62MPH at KBUF. I noted 2 large trees down and power lines lines down within .5 mi from the house, so no doubt there was more damage around (as per LSR). Lake effect showers developed late in the morning and continued at times throughout the afternoon. Several groupel showers were noted. Toward evening the rain mixed with snow...although much of the shower activity had moved south by that time. Light flurries at observation. |
