This morning everything is covered in ice including the storm door handle. The door opened easily from the inside but when I went out to feed the birds and bring the gauge in I locked myself out. Had to get a set of keys and enter the house through another door. After a few minutes with a hair dryer and a few squirts of WD-40 all was well.

If you have seen him you know that the strong winds are making the new snowfall reading near impossible. Luckily the gauge caught a lot of snow which gave me the 5" reading. Under the 5" was 1/4" of ice which was included in the rain and melted snow total above. No clue when this all started.
