10/30/2009 8:00 AM 0.57 M M M M Rainshowers with occasional thunder continued on past yesterday's observation time.
11/21/2009 8:00 AM 0.03 M M M M Drizzle fell overnight
11/30/2009 8:00 AM 0.15 M M M M Light rain starting around 8:30 am. We heard thunder at the beginning with a few nearby cells but then the rain went to stratiform.
12/2/2009 8:15 AM 0.48 M M M M Rain began around 5 pm CST, stopped after 6 pm, then restarted again before 4 am and continued to observation time. There was a hint of ice crystal remnants in some of the rain drops at observation time but I wouldn't call it mixed snow.

12/8/2009 8:00 AM 0.03 M M M M
12/25/2009 8:00 AM M 6.0 M M M Friends measured snow depth from the blizzard but liquid equivalent is available yet.
1/16/2010 11:00 AM 0.35 M M M M
1/17/2010 8:00 AM 0.15 M M M M Light rain persisted from a cutoff low. Then dense fog formed overnight with some drizzle.
1/20/2010 8:00 AM T M M M M A few big drops came out of very elevated convection featuring a mammatus base.
1/21/2010 8:00 AM 0.60 M M M M North-South line of thunderstorms passed overhead around 6:30 pm. Then a squall line raced to the northeast around 10:30 pm. The latter had high winds and lots of small hail.
1/28/2010 8:00 AM T M M M M Light elevated showers fell just before ob time.
1/29/2010 8:00 AM 1.57 0.8 M M M Freezing rain started ~7:35am and continued till 2:30pm. Sleet started mixing in around 1:30 and took over. Freezing rain accumulated to ~1" in the gauge and 5/8" on tree branches. Sleet accumulated to 3/4" in the gauge. Winds were ~20 gusting to 30mph. Our power Went out for a couple hrs in the evening. I noticed our value higher than others. I did melt everything in the gauge. The cover was off during the event and I'm wondering if some splashing occurred from the top of the post? It's not been a problem before.
1/30/2010 8:00 AM 0.45 8.2 0.45 M M We had several hours ofsnowfall from 10am to 5pm. It really came down from 1pm to 4, sometimes coming at 3"/hr. The snow fell as moderately rimed dendrites but as the event wound down, the flakes were clusters of pure dendrites. All of this is very low density stuff.
2/4/2010 8:00 AM 0.15 M M M M
2/5/2010 8:00 AM 0.05 M M M M
2/8/2010 8:00 AM 0.35 M M M M still raining lightly at ob time

2/15/2010 8:00 AM 0.05 0.7 M M M An Alberta clipper came by giving us a band of snow squalls in the mid morning. We got 0.75" of fluffy snow.
2/21/2010 8:30 AM 1.36 M M M M Drizzle fell most of the day then thunderstorms hit ~4am and ended just before ob time. Most of the rain was moderate.
2/26/2010 8:00 AM 0.68 0.8 M 0.8 M Rain began overnight then switched to heavy wet snow by 3:30am. We probably had nearly 2" of snow bu it compressed to .8" at ob time.

3/20/2010 8:30 AM 0.50 M M M M This form prevented me from entering in 0.5" of snow and the .08" SWE that came with it. So I put these totals here for now. Small thunderstorms formed ~530pm on a prefrontal trough then a line of storms came through on the big cold front ~730pm. Sleet started falling in the early morning changing to snow ~6am.
3/21/2010 8:00 AM 0.15 1.5 1.00 M M Mostly snow fell with much of it melting on the ground.

4/7/2010 8:00 AM 0.36 M M M M A squall line formed to our west providing us a nice lightning show before giving us rain and small hail. The hail actually started first before modrate rain took over. Another surge of rain and hail several minutes later with 30mph winds.
4/17/2010 8:00 AM 0.08 M M M M Convective showers formed in the afternoon but most of them were to our north. A cold front came through around 1pm.

4/23/2010 8:00 AM 0.51 M M M M thunderstorms
5/11/2010 8:00 AM 0.15 M M M M Tornadic supercell passed overhead and most of our precipitation was from the hook echo as we got slammed by the rear flank downdraft.
