Just after reading time yesterday a narrow, fast moving line of showers blew through and gave us 0.12 inches of rain. This will be followed with some cooler weather with lower humidity. It is some of Florida's nicest weather. |

We've had 0.97 inches of rain since about 4:30 a.m. as a large group of showers and thunderstorms moved off the gulf. It's still raining as the western edge of the storm approaches. Winds have shifted into the NW and the temperature is dropping. |

We didn't have the greatest rainfall in the area but we did get some much needed rain at 2.08." It soaked in quickly to our sandy soil and there is no standing water here this morning. It may rain more today but it's unlikely to be as heavy as yesterday which was, as they say, a gully washer. |

Loads of rain (0.92") and thunder. Almost every cell coming in off the Gulf shows some rotation and there is a tornado watch here until early afternoon and then, perhaps, until later. Our reading this morning was between showers so we lucked out. |

Dozens of mesocyclones blew in off the Gulf to give us damaging surface winds and extreme amounts of rain. Trucks were tipped over, screen enclosures were ripped apart and numerous large trees were toppled; some fell on houses and did substantial damage. |
