When we saw the wind speed reading we wrote it down. Then we saw that it changed from 3 to 4 then 5,6,7,8 then it went down to 7 again. There was no actual rain in the rain gauge. There was due drops. The wind kept changing from 2 to 8 mph. It was very cold. It was 22 degrees outside. It was cold about 10 degrees below freezing. I did not feel wind speed at all. I noticed that the wind kept going up to 9 and then it went down. |

The arrow on the thermometer was hovering just above 30 and when we went to check the rain gauge the cap was on. The snow on the snowboard was 12 inches and the wind speed kept changing. We saw that the rain gauge was plugged up with snow. The wind speed kept changing. We had a foot of snow. The power is off in the school and it was 31 degrees F. We saw nothing in the snow gauge because the teacher left the cap on. The wind speed kept changing. We had a foot of snow and we skipped school yesterday. At the snow gauge the teacher forgot to take off the cap so we did not get and answer. I also felt a little cold. It was hard to run through the snow.

I saw the temperature was 19 degrees. It (the wind speed) was 3 mph. It felt like 20 degrees with no wind. The wind was blowing NE; the snow board had a tenth of an inch on it. I saw ice and snow. It felt like it was below zero; it was cold out. It felt about 20 degrees, not 16 or 19. It also felt like there was a stronger wind speed than 3 mph. The snow was only about 1 tenth of an inch but over the Saturday and Sunday it seemed like we only got one inch. |

It felt cold. I saw rain puddles and snow breaking below my feet and the snow melting to create water. It was relatively warm with no wind and wet snow. The air was warm outside. There was no wind and .91 inches of water. |

There is 16in of snow out side all together and we got 8in. The thermometers had different temps one was 7 the other said 10 but one is sort of closed the other was in the open.

I saw the wind speed go from 2-4 mph and the sky is cloudy. there 0 inches of precipitation on the snow board. We forgot to put the rain gauge so we did not get how many inches we got. It was so cold and cloudy. The snow was so deep I could barley get through . |

It is sunny but really cold. When Mrs. Weed went to get the snow gauge it was up to her knees. There was a lot of snow. When Mrs. Weed went to get the snow gauge her foot prints were 17 inches deep. |

It was very cold. It felt colder than 20 degrees F. We had no precipitation. The wind speed was 10 mph. it was easy to walk through the snow to get to the snow gauge and the snowboard. We had no precipitation and on Tuesday night we had a big storm. It was very cold to other people but not to me. |

It was 26 degrees. The wind speed was 15 mph. The wind was coming from NW. It was cold to the other people in my group but not to me.
The digital rain gauge showed 0 precipitation while the normal rain gauge showed plenty of ice; because of that we can tell that it rained yesterday and froze today. It was pretty cold and dry. |

I noticed that it was 39 degree F but it felt colder because of the wind. I also saw that the wind speed kept changing. It ranged from 12 mph to 23 or higher. Today I learned how to read the indoor weather station. The weather seemed different than from what most of the thermometers read. The wind was coming from SW which was different from the last two days.
The temperature outside was 39 degrees F but it felt like 10 degrees F. The wind speed was very fast, it was 16 mph and kept it changing; it was coming from the SW. The precipitation was 0. Also the rain made the snow freeze which made it harder to walk on and the console kept saying to change the batteries. |

The building was blocking the wind. On the left side of the building there was no wind. (Shawn)
Outside it was 21 degrees F because the scoreboard weather station said 20 degrees F and the outside thermometer said 22 degrees F. So I am going with 21 degrees because that is in the middle of the two. The wind speed kept changing between 10 and 15 mph. There was so much water in the rain gauge when it froze it popped the lid off. On the inside temperature console it said it was 31 degrees F. Outside it was 37 degrees F. Big difference in my opinion. (Tyson)

I saw a lot of snow and ice. I felt sort of cold, but not really. I also saw that the temperature was 30 degrees on the weather station, but 40 degrees on the outside thermometer. (Mason)

This morning it was cold, windy and it is dry outside. The temp is 40 degrees but it feels like 20 degrees. the wind speed is 10mph. The wind direction is NW.(Tony)

It was very cold and when we went to go read the rain gauge it was wet on the ground. The temperature outside was 44 degrees and inside the weather station said the temperature was 45 degrees. We read 1.18 inches in the rain gauge. Also, I saw a lot of fog outside and I felt the fog on my skin and my face. I also think we might get a storm later in the afternoon. (Mason)
There was a whole 1.18 inches in the precipitation meter. There was a lot of mist. I like mist. It feels good and soft on your face rather than snow. Snow bites! The two temperatures where different by two degrees, so maybe up higher means it is a little warmer. Outside there were puddles next to the school due to all of the sudden rain. The wind speed was 4mph, not very fast in my opinion. It did not feel like 44 degrees, it felt a little bit cooler and there was 2.70 inches of rain. (Tyson)

Outside I heard birds chirping. There was no wind speed today. The temperature was 47 degrees outside; it was warm. There was .23 inches of precipitation in the rain gauge. (Justin S)
My observations are first of all, it was fairly cold out even though the temperature gauge said it was 51 degrees outside. Another observation that I made was the weather station's rain gauge said that there was 0.01 inches of rain but the rain water collection tube said there was .23 inches of rain. Another observation I made was there was no recorded wind speed but it felt like there was a little bit of wind, about a little bit more than 1 mph, but the weather station said there was 0 mph of wind. I observed that the temperature was 51 degrees F outside and the precipitation outside was .23 inches but from the weather station the precipitation was 0.01 inches inside and the temperature was 47 degrees F. I heard many birds chirping and the sound of dew drops falling. I smelled the fresh watery grass. It was cold for the 51 degrees F outside. There was no wind and of course there was no wind direction. (Amber)
