There was a little light drizzle/rain yesterday, not enough to measure. Snow cover is disappearing. In the areas where there is snow, there's up to an inch left. However, there's also only about 75% coverage (in a checkerboard pattern). Therefore, I recorded 0.5. |

There was a light snowfall throughout the daylight hours yesterday. There was a modest accumulation on grassy surfaces. It's weird because there was actually MORE snow on the ground last evening than there was this morning, despite it being in the mid teens. I'm guessing that we had a bunch of sublimation under clear skies last night. There is currently only a very light dusting on the ground.

Light freezing drizzle at observation time. During the evening we had rain. At some point overnight, we either had a flash freeze of that rain or had more freezing rain. Everything was covered with less than a tenth of an inch of ice. Snow is very crunchy, but still has a "powder" layer underneath.

Yesterday was the last "summery" day for the near future. Was bright and sunny for most of the day, but windy. Right about 4-5pm it clouded over and we got a really brief shower after 5pm. Until about 3-4pm, it was a beautiful day. Very comfortable with a hint of a chill in the air. Clouded over in the mid afternoon and we had a few drops of rain, nothing measurable. With the combo of the thickening clouds and earlier sunset, it was a very dreary evening. All the measurable rain fell overnight. MUCH cooler outside this morning and still overcast. |
