A major T-storm hit ca. 10:30 p.m. on 5/26 with near tornado ferocity - trees uprooted, power lines and poles down, etc. Electrical power was restored here the afternoon of 5/28; but no computer service until an hour ago. I learned that rain fell in sheets for 1/2 hour on 5/26 p.m. - blowing horizontally thru open windows. It was so threatening a friend took her cat and sought shelter in the basement.
