WE had a grand thunderstorm come through our area in the wee hours of the morning. The thunder and rain started at 4:07 AM and ended about 4:55 AM. Yesterday, Irene was off the South Carolina coast. While we here in Dorchester County was not under Tropical Storm watches or warnings- we should have been. We got 3.25 inches of rain, which started around 10:30 AM- with wind drivin rains and heavy downpours through out the day. The heavest rain was between 11:45 AM and 3:30 PM. Our temp yesterday was 84 with 90% humidity.Power surcharges on and off for two hours. While the rain stopped, the winds were brisk through out the afternoon. This day, 8-27-11, we do not have rain, but we still have some nice wind and our current temp is 77.2 with humidity of 88% and our pressure is 1006.
