It started very lightly sprinkling around 10:00 p.m. last evening & increasing a bit by midnight. Then around three & four this morning we get a real thunder storm waking me up but no apparent wind driving the rain. With the .85 inch rain last night we have a total of 11.32 inches rain for the month of July, the most we have recorded for any month since recording for CoCoRaHS in Nov 2007. The next highest recording for us was in Nov. 2011 with 10:91. In Dec. 2008 we recorded 9:65. This is by far he most for a July month. I wonder when we ever got more rain in July for our area? |
