fortunately it took the inner part of the rain gauge in yesterday afternoon when it started to snow as now the outer part is frozen so hard that I can't get it off of the post. I will have to wait untill later in the day to see what happens. We had quite a storm yesterday with very heavy rain and winds that tried to blow me off of the highway, and then it turned to snow. I think we here in Watertown had a good inch but other parts of the state got hit a lot harder. |

There was no rain in my rain gauge but I had to go to a meeting on the other side of town last evening and on that side they had had a shower. It didn't look like it was mesurable but the strees were wet. |

We are having a thunder and lightening storm like I haven'y seen in a year. Lots of noise and I am not going out to see jow much it has rained or if it has really rained and not just a lot of noise. I feel like a little kis that wants to take off my shoes and run out in the puddles. |
