As I was leaving for the airport at 0430, I was surprised to find it snowing vigorously. As I pulled out it looked as though there was up to 1/4" snow on our pickup parked in the street (but I did not have time to stop and measure). I returned today (12/13) and measured 0.01" water in the gauge. New snowfall is estimated from that. My wife reported "the ground was white" after sunrise, thus the T for snow on the ground at 0700. |
