Had a light snow event for about 30 minutes yesterday but melted after the heavy band went through. We managed to get a light dusting while we had the heavy band move through. Still no rain gauge to arrive, I am hoping it will be here soon. |

No rain gauge yet, but will be coming soon I hope. Measured snow depth in a NON drifted area and got 4 inches even here. Also a bare spot is starting to form where the snow blew from drifting on Dec 30th 2012, the bare spot is about 15x35 feet. |

Rain showers began around 1145am 1-11-13 and stopped around 1500. From around 1550 to 2200 we had steady rain with the heaviest being from 1800-2000 and ending around 2000 completely. Around 2100 to 2200 we had thick dense fog about 1/4 mile visibility, around 2200 we had fog lift somewhat and you could see about 1/2 mile. We were put under a Dense Fog Advisory until 9am 1-12-13 and it is still foggy with visibility to 1-3 miles. I still cannot see the mountain that I normally can around 4 miles away. |

heavy dense fog since yesterday afternoon, it has been near 1/4 mile and still is. Yesterday morning from observation to early afternoon the fog was nto as thick, about 1/2 mile. There was 0.01 in my rain gauge this morning probably from the fog/mist all day yesterday and last night. Most snow is melted, just "plowed" areas along roads and driveways are still there with ISOLATED (less then 10%) on the ground. |

Heavy dense fog and mist covered the area all day and night ranging from 1/4 to 1/2 mile visibility, until this morning. We were under a dense fog advisory untilt he fog burned off with a tmep now at 53.1 degrees. The gauge measurement was a mix of mist from fog over the day yesterday and the passing frontal boundary. |

Precipitation began around 2000 on Jan 15th as snow flurries then at 2030 it mixed as light snow and rain, by 2100 it was snow sleet and rain, that continued to about 2300 where it turned over to ALL snow and stayed that way until 00:17 when I went to bed. I woke up to snow and sleet covering all surfaces. I measured 1.75" on my snow boards of a mix of snow and sleet accumulations. My melted cour inside my gauge totaled 0.58 of melted precip (after the added hot water was taken out). It has been drizzling on and off since then and will report that tomorrow as well. |

A brief shower from 1603-1609. Then we had a *SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING* at 1821 and we had almost continuous thunder and lightning. The rain stopped around 1730 then we had another storm with some lightning and thunder around 2010 and the rain lasted until about 2200 hours. A light shower happened around 1020am and then I left and went 3-4 miles and it was extremely heavy rain going 35-40mph on Route 33 where speed limit is 65. I came back home to find a TRACE in my gauge. We then had a light shower and thunderstorm from about 1450pm to 1530. We then had a thunderstorm roll past to our north with some rain around 8pm with showers through the night and morning at time of gauge collection. We also had a slight 3 minute session of Pea Size hail at 1457. |
