Scattered showers would fall today as snow in the higher area only today but drier colder air is predicted to move in by this evening into Friday and Weekend ahead. Currently no snow in the board from yesterdays event of 6/10 inch of snowfall.

Today starting very chilly, frostly and partly all cloudy most starts on this Western side of the mountains. Freezing levels remains low at about 1000' today and should become mostly sunny. This morning a large cell is effecting the northern Cascades and upper Puget Sound according to radar loop pix's... Today will continue to be mostly cloudy with more possible showers and thundershowers being directed northward to ward us over Oregon from the Low off the northern Cali Coast. Thundershowers started here and there across Puget Sound.... After dark was a real Lightning show with rains picking up here about 22:00 and continuing into the midnight and early morning hours... today at report time still lite rains as mast seen on radar across central Western Washington south to Portland slowly leans out but still raining... Rain should slowdown or stop by later afternoon as source dries out some.... Clouds will remain today but some clearing already seen north of the area per Wx station reports... Yesterdays High: 67.8 dgs and Morning Low: 58.2 dgs. We had one rain rate at 3.41 per hour at 19:55 when a heavy shower hit us... another early this morning 3:43 at 1.10" per hour... These were short lived but really wet showers with many others lesser amounts surging during this Wet Period..
