Low to mid 90's; day started off mainly clear with some clouds out east but cumulus built during the morning and afternoon over the mountains with showers, some quite heavy causing some flash flood warnings during the afternoon; activity was pretty much confined to mountains areas and generally moved north and northwest; activity subsided around sunset when a mid cloud layer formed keeping the evening humid and uncomfortably warm (70's) and for today's date El Cajon set a record for highest minimum temp at 73; more of the same on tap for tomorrow and possibly Tuesday if moisture from dissipated Norbert enters the area; temps today were about the same as yesterday |

Low to mid 90's; a mid cloud ceiling started the day off and slowly broke up becoming partly cloudy by noon; not too much in the way of TRW activity but there were buildups and some TRW over the mountains which caused some flash flood warnings with most activity to the far north and east of here with most activity subsiding by early evening and becoming mostly clear; still a bit on the humid side with El Cajon once again setting a record for the date for the highest minimum temp (73) with temps tonite at obs time still in the low to mid 70's; today's max temps were about the same as yesterday |

Low to mid 100's; clear skies early followed by building cu and then cb's moving in from the southeast and east by early afternoon; although thunder was heard and rain was visible this station was between two storm cells and missed the majority of heavy rain that fell both north and south of here; high winds estimated at least 30 mph or more did occur here though scattering leaves and small branches; activity dissipated by mid afternoon, only to have another occurrence of storms coming in from the north but moving more to the southwest of here and just missing this station once again even though it was close enough for thunder to be heard; this second storm, occurring about 1700 local had more of an effect on San Diego itself with heavy rain and high winds causing numerous street floodings and downed trees; all activity moved off the coast and dissipated by early evening leaving more muggy conditions (tonites temp at obs time was 81--and today El Cajon set two records one for highest max temp for the date at 104 and one for the highest minimum temp at 74); similar conditions may occur tomorrow before cooling and drying begins on Thursday; the majority of the moisture from what was once Hurricane Odile appears to be going more into Arizona and maybe New Mexico where no doubt heavy rains will be occurring the next few days; today's max temps were the highest of the year so far and even warmer than yesterday |
