Snow began sometime between 3 and 5 am on 5 January, ending about 3 or 4 pm that same day. Blowing snow was horizontal several times during the day. Did not have much confidence in the average obtained for total depth of snow - which is all new snow - but melted snow in gauge seems to verify that depth measurement. Wind chills were brutal today - only stuck the scale in the snow in a few spots, grabbed the cylinder and scooted back inside. |
