Amazing how fast snow melts into the ground once some bare spots appear, my yard full of leaves that are now exposed and the green of the grass showing through them, the snow is almost a memory except in a few drifted places in the shade, out of any wind.
Thank to those that monitor these reports, I made a mistake entering moisture in the wrong place, don't know what I was thinking, but they caught it and I was severely beaten with a snowflake, I will remember. hah. Merry Christmas to all, may your New Year be fruitful and productive, remember Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas, not walmart. |

Snowed from about 6 pm to 7 pm. Very light, small flakes. all gone this morning. Not enough in rain gauge to even measure. Top temp here was hovering around 50°, but the wind blew near all day, gusting to over 50 mph at times. This I heard on the radio, my measurements probably indicates the same. It blew my bar b q over and it is protected by the house, blew a picket fence over, and blew enough moisture that the ground is almost totally clear. |

Hail was the size of a nickle, and fell for under 10 minutes, sun was shining at the time, but a very black cloud had just passed. Hail melted in less than 5 minutes with no damage, wind was less than 5 mph. |

Maybe things will return to normal, I was in the hospital for a week and wasn't too normal this past week either, but its the same very hot weather. Though the weather bureau is different, my temperature gauge read 102 at3 pm on Tuesday afternoon. So we can now use some of that rainfall we complained about earlier this summer. |

Working in the garden at 5:30 AM today, felt nice with cloud cover, cool breeze and a few sprinkles. Hoped it would rain but the clouds blew over quickly without giving up its moisture. Even a few sprinkles I guess counts as a trace. Still recuperating from my hospital stay, hope to be back 100% soon. |

The cold winds arrived about 3:15 yesterday and continued through the night. 40° for the morning temp with humidity higher than wanted. /The feeling of rain or snow mixed is in the makings. My garden is all picked except for cabbage which will stand some freezing and the strawberries that must learn what the cold will bring later. The chickens don't seem to mind and the 4 ducks thinks this is wonderful. I'm miserable. |
