Its 34 degrees this AM. temp yesterday was 34 degrees at 7 am and slowly fell as snow came in and began at around 9:00 am. snow was fairly steady, but dry until 1:00 pm when temps began to rise and snow fell faster and became more heavy. snow stopped at around 6:30pm where temp started to rise significantly. rain started around 7:00 pm and fell steadily averageing .15-.2 inch per hour. temp rose to a warm 53 degrees at 3:00 am when rain mostly stopped. a little bit fell after that as temp steadily fell to the current. It was quite windy yestrday , gusts before bed time were over 20 mph, had a recorded 57 MPH gust at midnight. chairs blown over etc. Winds shifted alot. they were from NE mostly until 7:00 pm, but several times they shifted SE during the snow for 1/2 hour or so. At 7:00 the y were SE winds as temps started rising. at 3:00 am when temps started falling, winds shifted to NW and remain there |

Rain started during early am at close to 3:00 am. when I went out to measure gauge, it had just turned to small ice pellets a few minutes before (6:40 am), (mix of frozen rain and melted and refrozen snow)while I was outside this ice pellet mix changed over to snow at exactly 7:55 am and as I write this there is now a layer of white about .2 inch of snow on ground and falling steadily. this is all occuring at 34 degrees with slight N , NE wind of 0-5 mph |
