Snowed continuously from our awakening yesterday until 4:15 PM. I see that the snow compacted since it stopped snowing--I regret not going out & measuring the depth then (will try not to repeat that mistake). Low temperature at our home was 7 deg F; read 12 deg at 7 AM. No wind. |

The terrain at my gauge's location is "natural" for No. NM--and the land is uneven, with clumps of grass interspersed with bare soil. This makes getting an average total snow depth somewhat problematic. But, after taking several measurements, I call the depth at 2.5" and the coverage is pretty uniform. |

Yesterday afternoon we received sporadic but heavy rain mixed with graupel. I reported this to the ABQ NWS at the time. It wasn't enough to do more than dampen the bricks of our sidewalk. |

Haven't reported in quite awhile because we've had no moisture fall in quite awhile. Awoke this morning to light snow fall and it is still snowing. Ground is looking white, but there is not enough depth on the snow board to call a measurement more than a trace. It did measure 0.01" in the gage, however. |
