Yesterday: began snowing at 0800 hrs and continued to snow at varying levels of intensity until 1700 hrs when the precip. changed to a light freezing rain. I measured the total snow depth at 1600 hrs before freezing rain began and there was just over 7" of snow on the ground. Temp. went from 23.4 F. at 0700 yesterday to 30.4 degrees at 2230 hrs.
