The streets were still wet at 5:15 a.m., though the rain had ended. When we walked at Meadowbrook Park from 5:20 to 6:30, we discovered that there was ice on the three wooden bridge surfaces later in the walk, and that the puddles on the sidewalk were beginning to freeze, but there was no indication of ice in my reporting location. There was some freeze damage on new or newly leafing plants. The blooms on new plants withered. New leaves on a few perennials curled up. I don't think there will be any significant long-term damage.
