Raining during observation. Current rain started at 3:20 am. with lots of lightning and thunder from 3:30 continuing through right now. winds form NNE is burst, 5-10 mph , but gusting on and off much higher The start times listed were from a separate event shortly after noon yesterday which was very heavy and dark with gusts from East, but dissapeared with clear and sunny skies by 3:00 pm. total from that event was .19 inches (which is included in todays total which is still collecting with heavy rain as I type this) |

Precip Started as only light rain late afternoon yesterday around 3:30 pm. rain was heavy at times during night. changed over to icy snow around 5:00 am. currently medium size flakes falling steadily and fairly straight down, only 0-1 mph wind from NNW. temp 33 degrees. accumulation on colder surfaces, but still melting on warmer surfaces. lawn quite mushy.
