This is a combined total from the storm observation made at 10pm on 11/21/15. There was only a T in the gauge this morning. The snow is considerably drier this morning than last night. The difference in the total snow on the ground in the morning and the new snowfall I am thinking came because the ground was warm and quite a bit of snow melted on contact especially early in the event. |

I took a ground snowfall measurement this morning (snowboard totals got messed up by the snow removal company). Had a shower over night. The air this morning is very muggy. The grass in many spots is beginning to come back. The weeds never left. The allergens seem up as well as my nose, sinuses, and lungs can attest. |

A brief shower yesterday late afternoon. Temps are still in the high 70's but the humidity is way down. Some of the lawn grass that seemed to go dormant during the long hot summer I think has actually died. Much of it has not come back even with the rains that came in August. Bummer. |

The muggy stuff is back. Sky is mostly clear, but there are high clouds. Lots of moisture in the air so the clouds are a bit blurred. Grass was cut yesterday; some of it still hasn't recovered from the lack of water. |

Overcast moved in around 10 am. Rain began later in the day and came in bands of light and heavy. at 9pm was sprinkling and overnight much rain and a small thunderstorm. Now have a aerial flood warning. |

The rain event began on Wed. night. I measured 1.44 inches thurs morning (reported). Then during the day Thurs rain came all day (still raining Thurs at 9pm); the rainfall came in varying amounts sometimes very heavy. I did a 3pm reading of 1.9 inches. And this morning's reading of .51. All readings together (thurs morning thru this morning) totals 3.85 inches. Caused local mild flooding in the usual spots. Brought back memories of the great August flood of a few years ago where rain totaled around 11 inches. Overcast this morning. |
