Observation Date Observation Time Precipitation Snowfall Snowfall SWE Snow Depth Snow SWE Notes
10/1/2016 3:00 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours, but some showers look possible over the next 24 hours. As our drought continues to worsen, we will take any and all rain that we can get!
10/2/2016 7:00 AM 0.28 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 It is raining as I write this, and it should continue to rain lightly for most of the early morning before tapering to showers for the rest of the morning and early afternoon. We will take all that we can get!
10/3/2016 3:00 AM T 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 The rain showers ended early yesterday morning and we were left with just on a off light drizzle through the rest of the day.
10/4/2016 5:30 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours. It will remain dry through the day today. The fall foliage is spectacular here in Leeds, with peak color just a week or so away.
10/5/2016 5:45 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours and it will remain dry through the day today. It now looks like Hurricane Matthew will stay well to our south, which means no rain for us! Of course! Even a tropical system can't punch into our area to put a damper on this drought. Nothing seems to be able to break this pattern! We are going to be in big trouble if the ground freezes before we get any good soaking rains.
10/6/2016 5:45 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours, and it will remain bone dry through the day and really through the next few days as well. We will also see above normal temperatures. When will we see a sign of relief from this drought?
10/7/2016 6:15 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours and it will continue to remain completely dry. No rain is in sight, as our drought gets beyond extreme at this point.
10/8/2016 3:00 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours and it will remain dry through the day today as well. A shower or two looks possible tonight into very early Sunday morning, and at this point we'll take any drop of rain we can get!
10/9/2016 6:30 AM 0.03 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 Some light showers passed through overnight, and it looks like some will continue on and off at least through this morning. An unexpected heavy rain is coming very close to us but looks to be staying to our southeast. We are hopeful forecasts are wrong and it makes it this far inland, because we need it pretty badly at this point.
10/10/2016 3:00 AM 0.42 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 What a nice surprise it was to have rain fall through the day yesterday. It was a steady light rain which lasted the entire daylight hours of the day yesterday. We picked up just under a half an inch. We will take all that we can get, especially when most of it is unexpected like that.
10/11/2016 5:30 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours and it will remain dry over the next 24 hours a well. We still need a lot more rain to rid of this drought we are in, and no rain is in the forecast.
10/12/2016 3:00 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours and it will remain dry through the day today once again. The dry pattern continues, with only a slight chance of showers tomorrow.
10/13/2016 6:30 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours. There are some low clouds and fog this morning and showers are expected later today, but we are only expecting to see around a tenth of an inch when all is said and done. We need much more than that.
10/14/2016 3:00 AM 0.13 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We had a band of light showers that passed through yesterday evening with the passage of a cold front. It was really nice to see some more rain fall, and although not much, we will take all that we can get at this point.
10/15/2016 3:15 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 A very cold morning this morning, but that doesnt help our drought situation out at all. Any vegetation that was still living will now be dead and will also dry out after this mornings hard freeze. We need rain or our fire danger will become a serious issue.
10/16/2016 3:10 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 Another dry day yesterday with very cool temps as well. A low of 24F in the early morning and a high of only 51F. Today will be a bit warmer, but still dry.
10/17/2016 3:20 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We continue to remain dry as all the showers in the mountains and to our west last night dried up before they got here. Its almost like we have an anti-rain shield over us, because rain has dried up like that before getting here for the entire year now.
10/18/2016 5:45 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours, as any showers last night stayed well to our south. It looks like today will be dry as well, and tomorrow will be almost hot, and still dry before some rain chances increase for later in the week. We need it!

Much of the same is expected today and most of tomorrow before another nice rain storm (with some wet snow possibly mixed in esp. mountains) moves into the area.
10/27/2016 5:45 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours but another hefty rainstorm is on the way for tonight lasting through most of tomorrow. 4/16/2017 6:45 AM 0.06 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We had some light showers pass through late last night, but didn't get as much rain as we were expecting/hoping for. More showers and even a rumble of thunder are likely this evening and overnight tonight.
4/17/2017 3:45 AM 0.01 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We saw some light showers pass through yesterday evening, but the bulk of the heavier showers stayed to our north where some places got a good soaking. It is beginning to dry out, believe it or not, now that the snow is mainly melted completely away. Some snow remains in the shaded spots in the wood however.

4/21/2017 5:15 AM T 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours other than some light drizzle on and off. A steady rain should move in this morning, and will last through most of the day today. It will be a very cold rain with temps remaining in the 30's all day.

4/28/2017 5:25 AM 0.01 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 Other than some fog and very light drizzle for a short time, it has been dry over the past 24 hours, although cloudy and raw. Today we could see some showers before skies clear and temps warm up this afternoon into the low 70's.

5/2/2017 7:00 AM 0.53 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We've picked up over a half an inch of rain over the past 24 hours, and it is still drizzling/showery out as I write this, and will continue to be through the day today. Temps will be a bit warmer today however, after a high of just 42F yesterday for May 1st!
5/3/2017 6:15 AM 0.28 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We had some heavy downpours pass through our area late yesterday evening, which dropped just under another three tenths of an inch of rain in a 15 minute time-frame. Today will be drier, but still a bit cool. At least the sun has returned!
5/4/2017 6:00 AM 0.01 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We had a couple light showers pass through yesterday during the daytime, just enough to re-dampen the surface of the ground once again. Today should stay completely dry before out next big rain storm moves in tomorrow.
5/5/2017 4:30 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours but that is about to change. 1-3" of rain is expected beginning midday today and lasting through most of the day tomorrow. Rain showers are in the forecast nearly every day next week. It's going to be a damp stretch, and cool too with highs only making it into the 50's.
5/6/2017 5:00 AM 0.36 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We've picked up only 0.36" of rain over the past 24 hours. It was a busted forecast for sure, with forecasts calling for upwards of 3" of rain for us. We will take less though as things are already very damp. Now we just need some warmer temps, but none is in sight.
5/7/2017 6:30 AM 0.11 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We picked up just over another tenth of an inch of rain during the day yesterday, bringing our two-day total to just under a half an inch. Much less than the 1-3" we were expecting to get, but we'll take it with how wet it has been.
5/8/2017 5:15 AM 0.06 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We had a little light rain fall for a short time yesterday evening, but it looks like more showers will be possible through the day today. Temps still remain on the cool side, in the low to mid 40's currently.
5/9/2017 5:30 AM 0.15 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 Yesterday was another day with very light rain/drizzle which fell for the majority of the day, but it only accumulated to 0.15". It was more of a damp nuisance than anything. Today promises to be much nicer, but still not perfect. We'll take anything better after this wet, cloudy, cool stretch though.
5/10/2017 6:30 AM 0.00 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 Amazingly, no new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours. It is the first dry 24 hour stretch we've had in nearly a week! Today we may see some pop-up showers, and temps will remain cool.
5/11/2017 6:00 AM 0.01 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 We saw some very light showers pass through our area late yesterday evening, pretty much just enough to dampen the surface of the ground. Today we'll see much of the same... Clouds, spotty showers, and cool temperatures.
5/12/2017 6:00 AM T 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 The theme continues, as it is currently cloudy, chilly, with a cool NE breeze and some fog/light drizzle here and there. Today should brighten and warm up though before our next storm moves into the area tomorrow afternoon through Monday.
5/13/2017 5:45 AM T 0.0 0.00 0.0 0.00 No new precipitation has fallen over the past 24 hours other than some light drizzle early yesterday morning. The day in general turned out very nice yesterday. Finally, the pattern breaks after today and we see sunshine and warmer temps!
