Sporadic counts since midnight, but this isn't reliable. Glaze on vehicle surfaces persisting at observation time. Earlier, ice was covering driveway but melting has begun. Estimated thickness much less than 0.1". Davis VP2 (heated) recorded 0.23".

Melted tube measurement was 0.44", this is typical with some droplets clinging to inside of outer cylinder. Peak depth from Ultrasonic Rangefinder was 8.82", current reading was 6.46". This accounts for 2.36" of melting due to rain and warmer temperatures. Subtracting yesterday's URF reading of 5.59", peak accumulation was 3.23". A quick stick measurement yesterday afternoon prior to the rain was near 3". Snowboard and core measurements are not accurate due to ice accumulation that had to be scraped clear after the observation. Ice thickness was not measured. "New Snow" is reported as 3.2" based on the URF measurements. Davis VP2 under-caught as usual at 0.34"
