One set of heavy rain went through then the second round about3:15 had some very light hail as part of the lightening and thunder, but you only heard it hitting the truck, did not see the hail or have any accumulation.

For a period of time, there was one roll of thunder every minute or two. At 2:46, the air temperature became much cooler, this was the second "round of light to heavy rain with thunder.

We are experiencing some flooding on Red Creek at Perkinston. Evacuated 2 or 3 families last evening that have houses on Red Creek. That creek gets flow from the Lamar county area. It angles across Stone County from the northwest corner to the south east.

1/21/2017	10:00 PM	Don't have hail pad the pieces on my porch we about 6 inches apart and a foot into the porch floor. I have metal gutters and the sound was very definitely hail striking. Was not large or hard enough to do damage to plants and vehicle in my yard. When I picked up a piece, it was not solid, but icy pieces held together that rapidly melted.
