The wind here will mean this is not an exact science. Sorry. 9.9 yesterday morning the average of multiple measurements. Another 4.7 on the board at 4:30pm, another 2.6 by 9:30 pm, and 2.1 this morning. Total for this morning 9.4, for the event 19.3. Add that to the 1.0 from 10/27, and the 20.3 for the season has already exceeded our 17.7 here for ALL of last winter. .11 in the gauge. Core sample from a cleaned out spot w/ 9.4 is the .58, which comes close to yesterday's ratio anyway. Total depth is tougher. Average around a foot . . . but that's NOT counting drifts at all, and I had to wade through snow up to my hips to get to the gauge. Will call it 12" for the day.
