More observations concerning, around 1990, I could count on weather being warm enough to plant flowers early in May, in recent years , especially since 2000 it snows in May with some regularity, two snows is average, Even into later May , weather is so cold, flowers do not grow well in May. But if we don't get snow in May , we will be shor to moisture for theyare and winter, does not bring the snow , but Spring does. And if we don't get rain in May or snow, the summer will be dry, for the rain will end in May, and no more real rain until around July 4, and then nothing until Aug during rally week! Sometimes it rains in Sept and Oct, not much snow until Dec. |
