This rain came yesterday afternoon with a severe storm in the area. We had hail and 40 mph winds at this location. A mile north and half mile west, as crow flies, there was heavy rain, hail and a higher wind causing crop and tree damage. And then it cooled off. High today has been 79*. This report is late but wanted it counted. |

What a rain! I was on the northern edge of a storm complex. Very little "noise" but the first inch of rain came in about 20 mins. Falling at a rate of 7.29 in per hour! Friends who live across town, maybe a mile as crow flies recorded THREE inches rain and another had FOUR. Glad for the rain! |
