Beautifully snowy day, cold, light wind - snow only accumulated on the grass, trees and car tops till just before the end of the snowfall, when it started to accumulate on the sidewalks and lightly travelled side streets in the apartment complex. Icy underfoot late evening, on the way out and back from the snowboard and rain gauge. Snow on ground measurements taken at 4 different locations on the snowboard. No core sample taken, just melted down the 4 inch gauge catch. Dew point temperatures ranged from 30 down to 24. Total December monthly precipitation is 0.40", total December monthly snowfall is 2.0". Total snowfall accumulation revised upward due to compaction based on other nearby cocorahs observers' reports, and in discussing with 2 nearby cocorahs observers with considerable experience. |

Sunday was cloudy, rainy and cold. There was some freezing rain at times, but temps were quite changeable based on elevation and freezing levels were quite varied. Most of our precipitation fell as rain, some elevated surfaces had some freezing more so than ground surfaces in many locations. Rain was a bit heavier in the late afternoon/early evening, with a max rain rate (MRR) of 1.10"/hour recorded on my VP2 at 1745. Dew point temps were dry at the very beginning of the day but rose quickly by late morning. (12° at 0131 rising to 33° at 1804. Monthly precipitation is now 1.33" and year to date precipitation is 3.16". |

Well this last weekend of September is finishing out a very wet month with a tranquil, pleasantly dry early fall two-day period.
Saturday was filled with sunshine and pleasant temperatures and lower dew points, with fair-weather cumulus dotting the afternoon sky at times. High temperatures reached the mid 70s by mid-afternoon, after an early morning in the upper-mid 50s.

Well this last weekend of September finished out a very wet month with a tranquil, pleasant, dry early fall day on Sunday, which was filled with sunshine and pleasant temperatures and low dew points. High temperatures reached the low 70s by mid-afternoon, after an early morning in the mid 50s.
Sunday’s max temperature was 72.6° at 1621.
Sunday’s min temperature was 56.2° at 0447.
Dew point temperatures ranged from a low of 52° @ 0913 up to a high of 63° @ 1744.
Relative humidity values ranged from a high of 93% @ 0501 down to a low of 56% @ 1215.
Barometric pressure ranged from a low of 30.28? @ 0000 up to a high of 30.38? @ 0859.
