7/9/2018	9:00 AM	0.36	M	M	M	M	It rained and sprinkled off and on most of the afternoon yesterday, starting a little after 1:00 p.m. Most of the heavy rain though was around us. At the same time, a mile away, to the west and south, the dirt road and paved road stayed dry and friends said they only had a couple of light sprinkles, which was good for the hay bales still in the fields there. The mountains all around appeared to be getting quite a bit and Panguitch downtown area got rained on very heavily for about half an hour. There are still large puddles in downtown Panguitch this morning so I would guess, based on living there for 3 years, that there was about a half an inch.

I was in downtown Panguitch a little after 1:00 p.m. when they got hit with hard rain and pea size hail. It caused some brief overflow of gutters lasting for about 10 minutes (the overflowing), but no serious flooding. The heavy rain lasted for about 20 minutes.
7/11/2018	8:00 AM	0.04	M	M	M	M	Although we got very little rain at our location, at the intersection of 3000 North and Hwy 89 there was pooled water across driveways and two yards were almost completely under water when I drove in to Panguitch this morning just before 9:00. Additionally, the size of the puddles behind our store and the neighboring stores indicates that rainfall last night in Panguitch downtown area was probably close to 1/2". I have pictures, if they would be helpful.

Residents told me they had 3 hail storms and heavy rain storms yesterday afternoon. There were still many very large puddles on the side streets. Out at our location, although we could see the heavy storms to the south and east, we only got 4 or 5 light to moderate showers, with a bit more overnight.
