Strong winds blew the rain yesterday afternoon during a blustery day in Palmer. All snow has melted off the snow board. Reported values below represent an average of nearby drift remnants. My high temperature yesterday was 48.7°F and my high gust was 47 m.p.h. McHugh Creek near Anchorage recorded a 113 m.p.h. gust yesterday. I've never witnessed a recorded gust that high since moving to South Central Alaska 15 years ago. So far today my temperature has ranged from 37.7°F to 41.7°F and my high gust has been 20 m.p.h.
