The snow was so heavy there are numerous trees that have come down and branches broken off and lying in the road or on houses. We had a little snow that fell but melted on the snowboard so it was difficult to get a accurate reading therefore I put down a Trace. I have lots of broken branches on my ornamental trees and we have to do a hard and ugly prune or replace them.

I needed to bring out some warm water to remove my rain gauge from the bracket. Very slippery out, better to walk on the grass than the sidewalk. It is just starting to snow at 6:45 this morning. Awaiting the huge dump of snow.
4/3/2020 6:15 AM 0.85 5.0 M 6.0 M What a day! Snow and wind from the north gave us all the snow back that had melted away. Heavy snow lasted for at least 5 hours, most fell between 7am to 1pm with totals of 4 inches. We did not get too much snow after that time but had more wind causing drifting.
