Did not check gauge at that 4:33 when I measured the snow but the 24 hour total in gauge at 7 AM was 0.71".

I found that over the last 13 years of record keeping I have averaged 3.97" and this year I reported 5.79" for the month. For the year do far I've recorded 27.85". An average year for me is 40.52" with August and September average 7.75". At this rate I potentially will be a little below normal for the year by about 10%.

Went to Cedar Rapids Iowa yesterday to clear trees from daughter's house and yard.
