All-in-all we haven't received the wind damage here (this time) that our friends and neighbors for miles around received a couple nights ago. They've lost a lot of grain bins, tool sheds, one entire grain elevator. Roads have been closed due to power lines down and poles being replaced. Can't believe I'm saying this, but it is getting extremely dry.Green beans have yielded abundantly; however, unless we get a rain soon -- there won't be a second picking. One peach tree had luscious big peaches, which we did get. Other 2 trees were stripped of peaches before they had matured!!! Assume some their are some stuffed critters out there. Getting just a few zucchini--have made some zucchini milk and ground zucchini for freezer. Wish the cucumbers would get busy.
