I never heard hail and didn't find any pellets in the snow or elsewhere, so concluded that the holes were more likely made by raindrops. There was both water and snow in the gauge, and we'd acquired more slush on the concrete surfaces overnight. L6 stratus overcast.

T-storm from 8:15pm to 10:10pm came with deep, booming, window-rattling thunder and brought us up to 0.98". The last 0.03" sneaked in sometime overnight or in the early morning. T-storms with very strong winds. Lots of small and medium-sized tree limbs down, and an interesting variety of other people's possessions blew into my yard.
