Wow, that's a lot of rain for the chance of a thunderstorm. All of this came down in essentially 3 big batches. The first started at 12:50 PM and in 25 minutes we had 0.53", the second started at 1:35 PM and lasted 35 minutes, didn't measure the amount, but the tube was overfilled and about 1/2" in the outer tube. So I'm guessing about another 3/4" fell. The last started at 7:00 PM and lasted for an hour. This one left over an inch of rain. There were some drizzle and light rain episodes between downpours. |
