Grass still has some dry & dead patches, although 2 days of rain this week have started to green things up a bit.

Broken L4 stratocumulus and cumulus, coverage is 9/10 of the sky. I am seeing tiny new weeds sprout in my garden and pasture (which had slowed slowed since April). I will have to begin weeding on a much more frequent basis and apply additional mulch to the garden.

Cashmere Bouquet has begun flowering, and have begun picking cultivated blueberries. Yellow squash is still blooming, and being harvested, but I planted very late this spring.

The air is somewhat hazy, although it doesn't seem to be significantly obstructing visibility.

6/8/2020 6:30 AM 4.76 M M M M MS-HR-22 TS Cristobal 75°F, SSW genntle breeze - Beaufort Scale force 3, with variable gusts to force 5, overcast L8 stratocumulus and cumulus (embedded cumulonimbus?). Thunder not currently heard, but I heard much distant thunder during the overnight hours. It has rained much of the last 24 hours, mostly light rain. There were several periods of moderate rain throughout, punctuated by brief heavy downbursts. I did see street flooding yesterday while driving to and from Lizana, as well as standing water on our very sandy, sloping property. The creeks we drove over had visibly risen over a 3 hour period yesterday as well.

Scattered L7 cumulus fractus beneath broken L4/L2 stratocumulus and embedded cumulus (I can see moderate cumulus through the breaks). Total precip from TS Cristobal was 7.1" at this station.
6/10/2020 7:45 AM 0.06 M M M M MS-HR-22, light rain started 2 minutes after emptying the gauge. 75°F, W light air - Beaufort Scale force 1, scattered L7 cumulus fractus, broken L3 cumulus, cirrus/cirrostratus visible through breaks, 9/10 sky coverage. Rumbles of thunder heard SW-W. It feels very humid out this morning.
6/11/2020 6:45 AM 0.37 M M M M MS-HR-22 67°F, N light air -Beaufort Scale force 1, clear skies. Feels a bit less muggy than the last several days. Fairy rings sprouted overnight after my husband mowed grass yesterday evening, so there is definitely moisture in the soil.

Occasional rumbles of thunder heard S-W. Precip was mostly light yesterday, punctuated by brief, occasionally very heavy downpours - due to TS Hannah feeder bands moving through the Saucier area.
