At 6:49 Hatcher Creek water was fourteen inches below the superstructure of the timber footbridge nearest the playground and flowing freely. The timber footbridge at the fork of the Hatches Pond channel and the greater creek water was flowing freely and not flooded. At the timber footbridge near the quarter mile post of the Hatcher Creek Greenway the drain flow was significantly obstructed with organic marine debris (pine straw, fallen tree twigs/limbs/branches, landscape materials). At FIDO dog station #11 standing brick-colored water was more than 5 inches deep adjacent to the footpath. At the timber footbridge near the Kudrow Lane end of the park water flow was impacted by fallen greenery such as nearby vines and smaller green leafy matter. Along the left bank of Hatcher Creek the water was observed out of the banks with more than 8 separate swaths of rapid flowing shallow (less than a quarter inch deep) water flowing across the Hatcher Creek Greenway towards the already flooded Hatcher Creek. There is typical standing water in the grassy field nearest the Kudrow Lane end of the park and some typical puddles on the baseball diamonds. |
