Round 1 of storms first thing in the morning brought just .08” but a brief burst of wind gusts of 72 with blowing dust and zero visibility. A few minutes later it was gone. Round 2 began about 1840, with 0.50" in 22 minutes, 0.26" in 7 minutes 1902-1909. This storm brought gusts of 44, but was stronger 2 miles south of here where it took down 12 power poles on Rosenoff Road. A third round occurred mostly after midnight, but was just a rain event with some mostly distant lightning. 0.22" was added since midnight . This brings the monthly total to 3.58" which is 393 per cent of the PRISM normal. It was the wettest May here since 1948 and probably the second wettest of record.
